Dr. Vandana (Wendy) Bacon is one of our newest pediatricians, joining CMG last year – and as the mother of an 8-month-old boy, she knows how quickly children grow. She is acutely aware of the changes they experience, which is one of the reasons she feels right at home at The Children’s Medical Group. Our “local” offices make it possible and encourage our clinicians to form lasting relationships with patients and their parents, throughout all the phases of growing up. Dr. Bacon says, “This is, of course, essential to being a good pediatrician.”
Whether it’s a rambunctious toddler or counseling an adolescent, she loves working with kids, not just in preventive health, but she also has a special interest in newborns and the treatment and management of asthma.
Growing up in Massachusetts, and now enjoying the Hudson Valley lifestyle, Dr. Bacon loves hiking, travel, running, Thai food, and spending time with family.
