Fifteen years ago, Shari Marton started at our front desk, part-time, and over the ensuing years became a valued full-time employee, working her way to a management position.
Shari maintains, updates and, recently, implemented our new phone system throughout all of our Hudson Valley offices. The Children’s Medical Group averages over 2,500 phone calls on any given day. Shari helps keep our system up-to-date, which affords our staff the confidence of reliability and allows us to reach out to our patients for an incalculable number of reasons – anything from a reminder appointment call to checking on the weather to facilitating patient requests. She advocates for our patients when it comes to obtaining prior approvals for needed services or out-of-network authorizations.
Shari lives in Marlboro with her son, daughter-in-law, and her two grandsons, and she proudly displays family photos in her office. When Shari is not working, she enjoys spending time her daughter, going on family trips, and reading a good book on her Kindle (especially on the beach!).
