Jennifer Gardiner

Human Resource & Marketing Manager

Jennifer Gardiner (newlywed, formerly Jennifer Tompkins) came to The Children’s Medical Group with expertise in marketing and event organizing. She keeps our website information and social media updated, and brings new and fresh ideas to the practice. Jen is great at juggling a wide variety of responsibilities, which include assisting management and staff, new employee recruitment and reaching out to potential new-patient families.

An area native, Jennifer graduated from Arlington High School, and earned a Human Resource Certification from Marist College. She took marketing courses at Herkimer Community College and is currently studying for the Professional Human Recourse Certification from the Society for Human Resource Management.

Jen is quite active in our community, both professionally and personally, from her early years’ involvement with her high school Hockey League, to running or helping out today with various area charitable events. In November 2012, she spearheaded “Stuff the Brown Truck” and organized with UPS to provide material relief to the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Jen also created and runs the CMG annual “Bump & Beyond” event for moms and moms-to-be.

Jennifer lives in Poughkeepsie with her husband, Rob, and their dog Chesney. She and Rob were married this March. She loves country music concerts (hence, her dog’s name?), Yankee games, and enjoying the local rail trails with Chesney… and we assume, Rob, too!
