Marc Habert, M.D.

Dr. Marc Habert joined The Children’s Medical Group in 2001. Originally from New York City, he is a graduate of The Mount Sanai Medical School, where he completed his Pediatric Residency and was honored as a 4th year Chief Resident.
Dr. Habert is Board Certified in Pediatrics, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is also a recipient of the Bella Schick Award for Excellence in Pediatrics and the Pediatric Resident Clinician and Teacher Award. He is trained in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and is currently training to become a Fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine. Dr. Habert’s medical interests encompass the full range of pediatrics, including: sports medicine, developmental pediatrics, infectious diseases, asthma, breastfeeding and caring for children with special needs.
He says, “Although I was raised in NY City , I love the Hudson Valley. You’ll find me outdoors with my family, in all seasons – hiking, camping, snowshoeing, skiing, snowboarding, biking, rowing crew, and kayaking. I encourage families to spend time together outdoors. I am happy to share ideas of fun and healthy activities.”
