Leigh Ettinger, MD

Dr. Leigh Ettinger, a distinguished pediatrician, became an integral part of Children’s Medical Group in January 2024. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the Children’s Medical Group. He is Board-certified in pediatrics, pediatric nephrology, and obesity medicine. His commitment to excellence is underscored by his continuous recognition as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor, a peer-nominated accolade he has received yearly since 2014.

A proud member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM), Dr. Ettinger remains dedicated to staying at the forefront of pediatric healthcare practices. His medical interests include pediatric nutrition, pediatric obesity medicine, pediatric kidney disease, pediatric hypertension, and complex pediatric medical conditions.

Born and raised in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia, Dr. Ettinger brings a unique perspective to his practice. Married and a father of three, he understands the importance of family and strives to create a warm and supportive environment for his patients.

Outside of the office, Dr. Ettinger is an avid cyclist and really enjoys adventure travel. In the past few years, he has been backcountry skiing in Yosemite, bike touring in the Pyrenees mountains, caving in the lava tunnels of Iceland, and hiking in the slot canyons of Escalante National Park, Utah.

Children’s Medical Group is thrilled to have Dr. Leigh Ettinger as part of our dedicated team. He will be seeing patients in our Kingston and Poughkeepsie offices. We are delighted to welcome him on board!
