Kira Lawton, MD, FAAP

Dr. Kira Lawton joined The Children’s Medical Group in August of 2017, and we are very pleased to welcome her!

Kira grew up in Queens, NY, went to Hunter College, then med school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She did her residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

Kira’s medical interests include dermatology, obesity, nutrition, preventive health, newborns and adolescent health. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, attending music & arts performances, and fashion.

Some of her most memorable trips include a medical mission in Honduras with Global Medical Brigades, and college-study abroad in Bahia, Brazil. He favorite fun outdoor activities include biking and picking fruits and berries, presumably at the many farms throughout the Hudson Valley. And since her favorite things to eat are fruit tarts ; ), it all makes perfect sense.
