What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite animated movie is The Lion King.
What is your favorite children's book?
A Series of Unfortunate Events, it is entertaining and has a great vocabulary. The author explains the big words throughout the text
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toys were puzzles.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
I am inspired by parents of children with chronic illnesses. Such parents continue to care for well children, nurture their hobbies while continuing to work themselves. These parents usually continue to have a positive attitude despite the challenges they face.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I enjoy gardening and yoga.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I enjoyed working with children and see them develop from infancy through young adulthood.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I try to show respect to different people and meet people where they are.
How do you accommodate patients with special needs?
I am patient with children with special needs such as Autism and I have received the PULSE Award, after being nominated by a parent.
