David J. Robida, M.D.

Dr. David J. Robida is a proud new addition to the talented staff of the Children’s Medical Group. Joining us in August of 2020, Dr. Robida brings with him a wealth of expertise and knowledge in pediatric care. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Buffalo, followed by his medical degree from the New York University of Medicine. Dr. Robida holds certifications from the American Association of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine.

Dr. Robida’s medical interests include pediatric asthma, SIDS prevention and education, newborn medicine, acute care, and encouraging healthy lifestyles in children and adolescents. One of his favorite hobbies includes hiking with his family, which he encourages as a way to be healthy and active.

Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Dr. Robida’s favorite sports teams are, of course, the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres. He and his wife have two young children- a son and a daughter- who love to be active. Hiking, trips to the zoo, and enjoying sports are some of their favorite ways to spend time together. He also loves to travel and has fond memories of backpacking throughout Western and Central Europe. While the Hudson Valley may not be the home of his favorite sports teams or his favorite food (wings), we know he will feel right at home here in the beautiful Hudson Valley and as part of our dynamic pediatric practice.
