What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My two favorites would be The Little Mermaid and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
What is your favorite children's book?
Frog and Toad Are Friends. My sister and I used to read the series as children
What was your favorite childhood toy?
I loved board games and jump rope as a child
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My parents. They led by example and modeled the values of perseverance, honesty, faith, and importance of education.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I enjoy music, reading, and spending time with my family.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I was interested in the field of Medicine from a young age. I have enjoyed working with children and Pediatrics was the right fit for me.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I love what I do. The best parts of my days are the few moments spent face to face with each of my patients and their families. I get to help people take care of their most precious gift, their child. The significance of that is never lost on me. It is a privilege. I strive to treat my patients with respect, to be thorough and listen to them carefully.
