A urinalysis checks for numerous substances and characteristics in your child’s urine to help diagnose a wide range of symptoms and conditions. UA can also show if your child has an infection or kidney issues.

If your child has a sore throat, this test can quickly confirm the presence of strep (a bacterial infection that requires antibiotic treatment). Rapid strep tests allow us to begin treatment as soon as we have a diagnosis.

This test tells us if your child has enough iron in their blood. Hgb tests are often used to screen young children for anemia, which can affect their energy levels, cognitive development, and more.

This quick fingerstick test checks your child’s blood sugar level. Glucose testing is important if your child feels unusually tired, thirsty, or sick or if diabetes is a concern.

This urine test confirms or rules out pregnancy in adolescents and teens, so you and your child can determine your next steps and evaluate birth control options if needed.
