Join the family guide program

Welcome to the Family Guide

Whether you’re expecting your first baby or looking to transfer into our practice, our Family Guide program offers you the best possible introduction to Children’s Medical Group. The Family Guide program is a personalized, concierge-style introduction to the way we do things and the resources we offer.

All this happens on your time, at your convenience. It’s our way of welcoming you to Children’s Medical Group, and to making sure you have the smoothest, easiest, most helpful possible transition into the practice.

The Family Guide program consists of three parts:

Greet

You get a warm, personalized welcome to Children’s Medical Group with personal attention and one-on-one communication from your Family Guide.

Register

You and your baby on the way (or your children you’re transferring to the practice) are pre-registered in our system, including all your contact, demographic, and insurance information. We create your electronic medial record and your Patient Portal account, so that everything is ready to go BEFORE your first visit.

Orient

Through a one-on-one virtual meeting and a series of resources emailed to you, you’re introduced to all the Children’s Medical Group resources you want to know about, including all the fabulous resources on our web sites, the use of our Pre-Visit Questionnaires, our Patient Portal, our social media channels, and info on all the best ways and times to contact us when you have questions or concerns.
