Celeste Grosso, M.D.
Dr. Celeste Grosso came to The Children’s Medical Group in 2012 from Cooperstown, NY, where she had previously practiced for two years. She received her undergraduate degree from Fordham University, and her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. Dr. Grosso completed her Pediatric and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry residency training at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Grosso is a member of the American Association of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Because of her unique qualifications, she also has a part-time position at the Astor Counseling Center in Red Hook. She is a board-certified pediatrician, and is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Neonatal Advanced Life Support. Her pediatric areas of interest include behavior issues, preventative health, newborns, and development and autistic spectrum disorders.
Dr. Grosso lives in Rhinebeck with her husband Ely, son Jesse, daughter Charlotte, and dog Peanut, and she loves to participate in family and school activities, including accompanying the Rhinebeck CLS Chorus on piano. She is an avid sports enthusiast, especially outdoors activities such as swimming, snorkeling, SCUBA, hiking and skiing. She’s a big fan of the San Antonio Spurs, the NY Jets and the NY Yankees. Two of her favorite interests are traveling and eating vegetarian foods – not necessarily at the same time.
