Welcome Dr. Jaspreet Sood!
Dr. Jaspreet Sood joined The Children's Medical Group in September 2010. She received her degree from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her Pediatric Residency training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Sood is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her special interest are in international health care delivery which has afforded her opportunities to serve patients in underserved communities across the globe including England, Scotland, Uganda and Brooklyn. She is Board eligible and will be taking the Pediatric Board exam in the coming year. Dr. Sood is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Neonatal Advanced Life Support. She speaks English, Hindi and Punjabi. Dr. Sood enjoys photography, enthusiastic chef and a fervent globe trekker who enjoys reading short stories, history and fiction. She resides in Poughkeepsie, NY.
